The largest airport in Romania, Henri Coandă Airport is located outside the urban area of Bucharest, in Otopeni city.

The access to the International Airport of Sibiu is made from the E68/E81 European road, 6 km west of the historical and administrative center of Sibiu, situated at 443 m altitude.

Târgu Mureş International Airport is called “Transylvania” and it has a favorable location close to the Deda-Războieni railway line, E60 road (Bucharest-Budapest) and the future Transylvania Highway.

Take the National Road DN1 to Brasov, and, in Predeal, turn left on DN73A to Râşnov. Continue on the DN73A to Zărneşti, and then make a right on DN112A to Codlea. There you will enter on E68, and drive until the locality Voila, where you make a right on the County Road DJ105. Close to Agnita take the crossing with DJ106, then continue up to Barghiş, where you enter DJ141. After Pelişor, make a right turn on DJ141B up to Richiş – total distance: 300 km.

From Cluj-Napoca follow the European road E81 towards Turda, and then take the A3 highway to Câmpia Turzii. Then take the exit on E60 on the road to Ludus, and after the locality Iernut make a right on DN14A to Mediaş. From Mediaş take the exit on DJ141 to Moşna, and from DJ141 enter directly on DJ141B to Richiş – total distance: 144 km

From Sibiu, on the County Road DJ 106 to Agnita up to the village of Barghiş, continue on DJ141 Moşna-Mediaş up to the crossing with DJ141B, where you make a slight right to Biertan – total distance 67 km;

From Sibiu, on Dn 14 to Mediaş, in Mediaş continue on the road to Agnita on DJ141, through Moşna, and then at the crossing with DJ141B make a slight left to Biertan – total distance 78 km;

Take the DN13 road to Sighişoara, then from Sighişoara continue to Mediaş. At the roundabout enter on DN14 towards Daneş. In front of Saros on Târnave make a left on DJ141B on the Biertan-Richiş road – total distance: 84 km
